Baan Phonsawan at Flight of the Gibbon

On behalf of all the children at PCDC we would like to thank Mr.Tony, the manager and the owners of "Tree Top Asia" for bringing joy and happiness to our children by sharing so generously this amazing forest adventure. On Friday October 09 eleven of our children and four adults got to experience a thrilling once in a lifetime adventure called the "Flight of the Gibbon" at Tree Top Asia. What a thrill it was to be flying through the trees high above the ground through a tropical rain forest in all its splendor.

Although our children are from the hills and forests they had never experienced anything like this marvelous adventure among the tree tops where the gibbons play. It was magical, the sounds of gibbons howling in the distance amid the lush tree canopies and the breath taking views from the tree platforms overlooking the magnificent forest scenery. What a wonderful feeling being so close to nature on a beautiful October day in northern Thailand.

The children have not stopped talking about this amazing day, faces glowing, eyes sparkling, wide grins that can not contain their joy and sheer happiness from an experience they will never forget. All of this was made possible by Mr. Tony and the generous owners of Tree Top Asia. We were all touched by Tony's thoughtfulness, for reaching out to the less fortunate and sharing this amazing tree top adventure with those of us who would otherwise never be able to experience it. We are grateful for the care and attention we received that made us feel so special and most welcome. We shall never forget the "Flight of the Gibbons" adventure nor the generosity and kindness of the people who made this possible. To Tony and all his staff and to the owners of Tree Top Asia/Flight of the Gibbons we say thank you for sharing this incredible adventure with us.

After exciting and breath-taking flights through the jungle, it was good to have firm ground under our feet again. Joy and happiness is on everyone's face, even though some exhaustion cannot be denied.

A sincere Thank You to Flight of the Gibbon and all its team members for this great opportunity. This special day will certainly stay in everyone's memory for a very long time. Particularly for the children it will probably be years, if ever, before these young fellows will have a comparable experience again.
